Family Weekend

Great golfing experience & exceptional value for money
We took advantage of the week day special for 8 golfers that included a round of golf, accommodation and breakfast. We had a great time and played golf on a well-kept course surrounded by springbok and other species – which in itself was an amazing experience. The accommodation was first class, the staff friendly and helpful and the facilities comprehensive. The breakfast was basic, a couple of eggs and two bits of bacon, but plenty of toast and jam and as much delicious coffee as you wanted. That’s not a complaint, the value was outstanding even without breakfast! We’ll be back!

Fun Family Stay
Beautiful views, friendly service, immaculate and clean. We loved out stay. It was close enough to the lagoon for a day trip and conveniently close to the shops. All the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Brilliant place for family holidays. On the amazing Gary Player Golf Estate. The course is beautifully laid out, and the facilities are top class. Inside the estate you find a massive gym, swimming pool, games rooms for kids, a play park, and a club house with a fantastic restaurant. The estate is situated 10min from the beach, and 5min from Langebaan mall and town. Staff and security are super friendly. If you are lucky you’ll spot some tortoises and various species of birds. Perfect for a getaway, and only 1.5 hours outside of Cape Town. 5 stars from me!

Excellent service and a wonderful stay! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The environment is warm and cosy. There is also so much fun filled activities available for the entire family.

Ladies Golf Getaway
Fantastic stay and wonderful golf experience. We were a group of ladies and really enjoyed our time away. The lodge was clean and centrally situated so that we could walk to the clubhouse. We had loadshedding twice while we stayed there and the lodge was equipped with battery lighting for our convenience. The only small complaint is that I think the clubhouse breakfasts quality could be improved.

Awesome stay
A pleasurable experience from the first contact. Excellent reception and hospitality. I arrived late with marathon registration happening. Lots of people all trying to find their way and I still felt like I was the only and most important guest. A truly wonderful weekend experience. Looking forward to returning many times more.

Great value for money golf trip
8 friends on a 2 night / 3 day golf trip. Great accommodation, good course, good food, amazingly good value both for the trip and also in the restaurant and bar. Well worth taking one of the stay and play packages

Love our little winter break!
Great little getaway for our family! Everything on one estate, plenty for the kids to do and a rest for mom and dad! Can walk to tennis courts, clubhouse which is great as I hate driving when I don’t have to! Pizzas where great and wine cheap!! Mashe course was great for hubby and 7 year old, foot golf for the whole family is a winner every time! Chantel is awesome as always! We will definitely go back next year if not sooner!

Long weekend
Great family weekend in a safe and child-friendly environment. I can recommend it to families looking for a break-away! Langebaan is a great location for swimming, golfing, kite-surfing and relaxing in the West Coast.

Our home away from home
I can recommend the Langebaan Country Estate with 100% confidence. From making my reservation to having a special request and signing in on arrival was great. Warm and friendly staff in all departments. My unit was immaculate. The atmosphere was quiet and serene even though it was during the school holidays. I was disappointed in my breakfast as well as the Father’s Day lunch though. Other than that we will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful time with three other golfing couples, all of whom agreed with this assessment. The accommodation was superb and very reasonably priced, the golf course in excellent condition and the staff were all friendly and efficient. This was our third trip as a group to Langebaan Country Estate. We will be back.

Working holiday
Neat clean units and nice comfy beds and nice decor. Has everything you need for self catering. Nice little deck for braai’ing. Very pleasant stay all round and we felt very much at home and relaxed while we were there.

Well worth the visit
Our visit to LCE was not my first, as its most convenient for a golfing trip. As usual, the accommodation was clean well-appointed and comfortable. My wife and I both enjoyed the most amazing treatments at the Zest Spa, and we both felt that these were of the better ones wed ever had. Definitely to be repeated next time we visit. What enhances ones experiences are the positive and warm attitudes of the staff at the complex, from the security personnel at the entrance to the reception, and then at the spa itself.

Excellent Accommodation
The 8 sleeper is ideal for a breakaway with friends, as the layout of the unit is comfortable for 2 families. The amenities are excellent and there is lots to do for young and old. Centrally located. Enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location
The golf apartments is secluded from the wind and private. Easy access to the beach area and restaurants in town. Ideal for golf holliday. The restaurant on the estate serves excellent meals and the perfect spot for sundowners.

The Langebaan golf lodges are comfortable, spacious and well equiped. The kids play area is close enough for everybody to enjoy. The golf facilities great and everything is reasonable priced, quality good and service outstanding.

The staff at this facility is excellent. Always service with a smile! The food was excellent. The accommodation was clean and in an excellent condition. The golf course was immaculate. The gents transporting us to the conference venue and back, wow how friendly and accommodating!!

Very enjoyable. Great golf venue and facilities. Accommodation at the Ellefsen Golf Suites really lovely and of a high standard. Convenient, well supplied with necessary items for a self-catering stay. The service at reception desk was friendly and welcoming. Good turn-down service was a pleasant and welcome addition

Wow. This place is so beautiful and so clean. Houses are big and look stunning. Golf course is open and the greens are so well looked after. Security is very helpful. There is a gym as well so you can train and exercise when you want. Saw some wild life which is amazing. It is a nature reserve as well so that was a nice scene to see.

Worth every penny for the two days spent there. Accomodation, food, bar, staff and the golf course all excellent. Well placed for evening visits to local restaurants although the Italian evening in the Estate restaurant was very good and great value for money. We hope to return next year.
