BUILDING ON THE ESTATE
Building of homes on the Estate started in 2004. To date over 600 homes have been built. Initially, only one builder was involved in the construction of homes, but in October 2008 it was decided to rather have a Panel of Appointed Builders. These builders have been carefully selected to give home owners the best quality home at a market-related price. Owners are also welcome to register their own builder, providing that they qualify in terms of Langebaan Country Estate’s regulations.
Langebaan Country Estate has, via the Building Compliance Office, developed a Contractors’ Code of Conduct (CCC) to assure that all building activities on the Estate comply with all legislation and requirements around Environment, Health and Safety, and other building-related aspects. The CCC also ensures that residents are the least hindered by any building activities.
